Two persons died after a truck hit a motorcycle they were riding on at Bhaluhi in Jitpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City-23, Bara on Tuesday. 

The deceased have been identified as 30-year-old Dilip Chaudhary of Karaiyamai Rural Municipality-7, Bara and 35-year-old Rabindra Upadhyay of Nagwa, Birgunj Metropolitan City-15, Parsa.

The truck (Na 3 Kha 5610) hit the motorcycle (Na 43 Pa 5122) heading towards Birgunj last night, according to police. 

Although both the injured were taken to Narayani Hospital in Birgunj for treatment, doctors pronounced them dead on arrival.

The bodies have been kept at the Narayani Hospital, said Min Bahadur Ghale, police Spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at the District Police Office, Bara.
