Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Ashok Raj Sigdel left for China to attend the 13th edition of the Beijing Xiangsthan Forum on Sunday. 

In absence of CoAS Sigdel, Lieutenant General Pradip Jung KC will serve as Acting CoAS, according to Nepal Army Public Relations and Information Directorate.

The Nepal Army has believed that CoAS Sigdel's visit to the Forum would contribute to expanding military relations between Nepal and China and reinforcing foreign policy through military diplomacy.
