Champions Arsenal made it 12 points out 12 as they ground out a 2-0 victory at Sunderland on Saturday to move clear at the top of the Premier League table but Liverpool and Chelsea, both tipped as title challengers, were held to draws, Reuters reported.

David Raya's penalty save in the 55th minute proved crucial for Arsenal who went ahead two minutes later with Bruno Guimaraes's first goal for the club.
