The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 7. 37 points to close at 2, 643. 83 points on Friday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 0. 13 points to close at 464. 73 points.

A total of 9,754,403-unit shares of 344 companies were traded for Rs 1. 53 billion.

Meanwhile, Mount Everest Power Development Limited (MEPDL) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 15. 00 percent.

Likewise,  Super Khudi Hydropower Limited (SKHL) was the top loser as their price fell by 12. 83 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 54 trillion.
