The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 13. 95 points to close at 2, 712. 54 points on Wednesday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 2. 10 points to close at 470. 31 points.

A total of  11,362,465-unit shares of 346 companies were traded for Rs 1. 57 billion.

Meanwhile,  Everest Colour Limited (ECL) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 14. 99 percent.

Likewise, 9.5% NCC Debenture 2086 (NCCD86) was the top loser as their price fell by 7. 16 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 66 trillion.
