The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) surged by 41. 70 points to close at 2, 719. 24 points on Monday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 4. 22 points to close at 472. 60 points.

A total of  12,245,337-unit shares of 343 companies were traded for Rs 1. 57 billion.

Meanwhile, Everest Colour Limited (ECL)​​​​​​​ was the top gainer today with its price surging by 14. 57 percent.

Likewise, Aatmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ANLB) was the top loser as their price fell by 6. 86 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 67 trillion.
