All-party meeting at 2 pm today to discuss Bhotekoshi flood
An all-party meeting has been scheduled for 2 pm today to discuss the issues relating to search and rescue efforts, relief distribution and rehabilitation.
Spokesperson of the ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Jagdish Kharel, said that the all-party meeting would be conducted at RSP's Parliamentary Party office.
The political parties would dwell on the loss caused by the devastative flash floods in the corridors of Bhoteskoshi and Trishuli rivers.
The meeting is also expected to discuss rescue of the affected persons, search for missing ones and distribution of relief materials.
RSP President Lamichhane calls on President Paudel
Rastriya Swatantra Party President Rabi Lamichhane called on President Ram Chandra Paudel today.
During the meeting held at the Office of the President, RSP President Lamichhane briefed President Paudel about losses caused by Bhotekoshi flash floods, ongoing activities for rescue and relief operation, shared the RSP.
Lamichhane made the briefing to President Paudel following a meeting today itself with Prime Minister Balendra Shah about the government's ongoing activities.

Prime Minister Balendra Shah and Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Party Rabi Lamichhane held a meeting today.
During the meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Singha Durbar, discussion was held about government's ongoing activities related search, rescue and relief distribution in areas affected by Bhotekoshi flash flood in Rasuwa, shared PM Shah's Press and Research Expert, Dipa Dahal.
Similarly, various issues including search, rescue, relief distribution and rehabilitation of flood victims were also discussed.
Bhotekoshi flood: PM Shah seeks updates from security chiefs
Prime Minister Balendra Shah today held a series of high-level discussions with the chiefs of various security agencies to tackle the challenges posed by the recent flooding of the Bhotekoshi river in Rasuwa.
According to Dipa Dahal, the Prime Minister's Press and Research Adviser, PM Shah received a briefing from Chief of Army Staff, General Ashok Raj Sigdel, regarding the ongoing search, rescue, and relief efforts, as well as management strategies.
Shah is currently being briefed by Inspector General of the Armed Police Force, Nepal, Narayan Dutta Poudel. A separate briefing with Inspector General of Nepal Police Dan Bahadur Karki is scheduled for later today.
