Russia threatens more Kyiv strikes and tells foreign nationals to leave
Russia has threatened to launch a fresh wave of "systematic strikes" against Kyiv, days after carrying out one of its largest attacks on the Ukrainian capital since the start of the war, BBC reported.
The new strikes will target "decision-making centres and command posts", alongside drone manufacturing facilities in the city, Russia's foreign ministry said in a statement.
Moscow has called for foreign nationals and diplomats to leave Kyiv "as soon as possible" and warned citizens to stay away from administrative and military buildings.
Netanyahu says Israel will intensify strikes against Hezbollah
The Israeli military says it has begun a wave of strikes across Lebanon following an announcement by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that his country will intensify its attacks on Hezbollah, BBC reported.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it had launched strikes against Hezbollah sites in the Bekaa Valley in the east of Lebanon and additional areas across the country.
It followed a video statement on Monday evening in which Netanyahu said Israel was "at war with Hezbollah" and that he had given the military instructions to "deal them a crushing blow".
US military says it has launched new strikes on southern Iran
The US military says it has launched new strikes on southern Iran, targeting Iranian missile sites and boats attempting to place mines, BBC reported.
US Central Command said in a statement the strikes were taken in "self-defense", and were designed "to protect our troops from threats posed by Iranian forces".
Central Command spokesperson Capt Tim Hawkins said the US military "continues to defend our forces while using restraint during the ongoing ceasefire".
Turkish riot police storm opposition offices after leaders ousted
Turkish riot police forced their way into the headquarters of the country's main opposition party on Sunday, days after a court dismissed its leadership, BBC reported.
Clouds of tear gas billowed outside the Republican People's Party (CHP) building in Ankara, where party members had blocked the entrances with a makeshift barricade.
Footage from the scene showed those inside shouting and throwing objects towards the entrance, and police being sprayed with hoses.
