The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) surged by 15. 44 points to close at 2, 538. 11 points on Wednesday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 3. 02 points to close at 449. 18 points.

A total of 7,268,202-unit shares of 354 companies were traded for Rs 1. 47 billion.

Meanwhile, Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ULBSL) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 11. 87 percent.

Likewise, NMB Energy Bond 4% - 2093/94 (NMBUR93/94) was the top loser as their price fell by 5. 81 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 36 trillion.
