A Korean Air Force aircraft has landed in Kathmandu carrying relief supplies for the flood victims of the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli.

A plane arrived in Kathmandu this morning carrying necessary post-disaster relief supplies and forensic laboratory equipment.

A rescue team from Korea has already arrived and is engaged in search and rescue operations in the tunnels of the flood-affected area.

Following the floods, India, China, the UAE, and Korea have sent relief supplies to Nepal by air.

So far, the bodies of 1,068 have been recovered. Of these, the bodies of 58 individuals have been handed over to their families. 

Police report that 4,606 people, including 583 foreign nationals, remain missing.
