The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) surged by 9. 24 points to close at 2, 522. 66 points on Tuesday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 1. 72 points to close at 446. 16 points.

A total of 7,613,681-unit shares of 341 companies were traded for Rs 1. 46 billion.

Meanwhile, Mathillo Mailun Khola Jalvidhyut Limited (MMKJL) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 7. 15 percent.

Likewise, Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ULBSL) was the top loser as their price fell by 8. 48 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 33 trillion.
