Annapurna Media Network has launched the ‘Annapurna for Climate Justice’ campaign to internationalize the issues arising from climate-induced disasters such as glacial lake outburst, floods and landslides.

This campaign was launched on Monday with an aim of ensuring that the media prioritizes coverage of the human and material losses caused by the devastating floods in Bhotekoshi of Rasuwa. 

According to Lal Bahadur Airi, Executive Director of Annapurna Media Network, the campaign will organize dialogues and conferences to raise awareness and mount pressure on the United Nations and regional forums through the media.

Earlier, Annapurna Media had undertaken impactful initiatives including a climate-friendly green campaign for the sustainable development of the country.
