Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava and Chairman of Lomanthang Rural Municipality Tashi Nharbu Gurung jointly inaugurated a newly constructed dormitory building for the Lowo Nyiphug Namdrol Norbuling Monastic School in Mustang. 

The building, constructed with the financial assistance from the Government of India under a High Impact Community Development Project (HICDP), comprises four blocks and allied facilities. 

The project was implemented through Lo Manthang Rural Municipality in Mustang.

On the occasion, Ambassador Srivastava extended his best wishes to all stakeholders of the project and reiterated the Government of India’s commitment to working closely with the people and Government of Nepal to advance shared growth and prosperity, reads a statement issued by the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu. 

Chairman of Lo Manthang Rural Municipality Gurung along with school management and other stakeholders, expressed gratitude for the support provided by the Government of India.

They noted that the new infrastructure will improve accommodation facilities and strengthen the overall learning environment of the Lowo Nyiphug Namdrol Norbuling Monastic School.
